Audition

Relax! There is no need to be nervous or to prepare anything in advance. The audition consists of vocalizing, conversation, and a little guided sight-reading.  This is to assess your general musical ability and the quality and range of your voice.

• Auditions for new members are held in September and January of each year.

• Become part of a dynamic, energetic, and ever-growing community of singers.

• Singers from a variety of backgrounds and levels of experience are welcomed to sing in this community based choir.

• Prior choral singing experience is helpful and some ability to read music from a score is expected.

•  Rehearsals are held Monday evenings from 7-9:00 PM in Astoria.
